影片由印度的谋杀悬案及调查改编。14岁的花季少女Aarushi，是Talvar夫妇的掌上明珠。Aarushi在深夜被谋杀于自家卧室，惨案发生当晚，夫妇正在隔壁卧室酣睡。除少女Aarushi被谋杀外，45岁的仆人Hemraj Banjade的尸体在很晚时候也被粗心的警察发现。。After investing all his savings to travel with his son to the World Cup, Lucho is shocked when he learns that the Argentine team gets disqualified from the games.
